Introduced to the public in 1959, before the instant connection via computer or cell phone, before the Beatles, even before the first color television. While milestones have come and gone, this bowling alley has been grounded in the foundation of comradery; where people can just come together and be together.
Holiday Lanes nearly saw its doors close when it was announced that the bowling alley would shut down on May 1, 2018, not only taking away fun and entertainment to the public, but also leaving many without employment. Under new ownership, the scenario was short lived and they saw Holiday Lanes as a necessity rather than a commodity, quickly realizing the bowling community was starving for a progressive locally owned bowling center that carried on a legacy from the prior ownership.
Beginning immediately after acquiring the center on May 29th, 2018 several changes were underway and completed by September 1st. Lanes 1-16 were completely redone with new synthetic lanes, new gutters with automatic bumpers, new approaches, and new ball returns. The entire center was updated with the newest in automated scoring technology and we have ordered and received 100 new house bowling balls and 100 pairs of new rental shoes. Additionally, we have made several menu enhancements and improved the quality of the food and overall dining experience. It is our goal to work tirelessly to create an overall entertainment experience for all of our customers.
